The Intolerable Acts were punishing laws passed by the British Parliament in 1774 after the Boston Tea Party. The laws were meant to pay back the Massachusetts colonists for their defiance in the Tea Party protest in reaction to changes in taxation by the British to the detriment of colonial goods.Parliament replied to the "Boston Tea Party" with the five Coercive [ look that word up if you don't know its meaning] Acts of 1774. The colonists dubbed them the "Intolerable Acts." They were an important factor contributing to the American Revolution. Please list and explain what each of the five acts were and why they made colonists VERY mad.

Open the timeline. We will be learning about each of the events on this timeline. You will need to start a SLIDE SHOW FOR EACH, and be able to add information as we take on each one by one after we have completed the 26 slides as an introduction.. Below you will find the timeline as well as an example of how to set this up. These will be due one at a time till the end of next week. Start with the Treaty of Paris and continue on. I will be adding information along the way. Remember two slides for each. Remember..DO NOT SIMPLY COPY FACTS WORD FOR WORD...DO NOT DO THE DECLARATION OF THE STAMP ACT AND THE VICES SECTIONS...THAT MAKES THE 13.
