Class Info:
I will be serving as your child's 4th grade Science, Social Studies, and Writing teacher. A majority of the work done in class will involve Project Based Learning, a teaching method that involves students gaining knowledge and skills by working for an extended period of time to investigate and respond to an authentic, engaging, problem, or challenge. In English, that means the kids will be working together on BIG projects, doing in-depth research, and forming discussions about their findings.

During the course of the school year additional supplies may be needed (especially for science experiments). If you would like to help, there is an easy way! Sign Up Genius allows me to create a list of materials needed and email parents in bulk. If you'd like to help, shoot me an email and I will add you to the list of helpers. When supplies are needed you will get an email from Sign Up Genius with a list of supplies. It's great!
